Biography
Augustus was born in 1809. He is the son of Daniel Badger and Ann. He passed away in 1876.
He married Frances Higbie, most likely around 1840. The couple had at least three children: Florella, Czarina, and Frances. Family Search show them with a fourth child, Josephine, who appears in the 1870 census. Personally, I believe it is more likely that if they had a fourth child, it would be Charles, who also appears in the 1870 census. This would make Josephine a daughter-in-law, and the infant Nellie would be their granddaughter. However, I have not studied this family enough to know for sure.
According to Augustus’ death certificate, he worked as a ship chandler.
