Biography

Johan was the second of five known children of Heinrich Bahn and his wife Cäcilia Ludwig.[1] He was born in Vilich-Müldorf, a community on the east side of the Rhine River, then part of the Electorate of Cologne, which is now part of the Beuel district of the Federal City of Bonn.

Johan's mother died when he was ten years old, and his father remarried shortly after.

Johan married Sybilla Baum in Vilich when he was 26 years old.[2] They are the parents of nine children, when the couple were living in the town of Troisdorf-Sieglar.

Johan died at age 77 in Troisdorf-Sieglar.[3]
