Biography

Teresa was born in 1867. She was the daughter of Henry Bailey and Sarah Fernance.

Teresa married a widowed Levi Australia Scotton on 22 Mar, 1889 at Singleton, New South Wales, Australia.[1][2]

Levi and Teresa had the following children:

  1. Vera born 1890 in Singleton, New South Wales, Australia.[3]
  2. Elmer born 1892 in Singleton, New South Wales, Australia.[4]
  3. Averil born 1895 in Singleton, New South Wales, Australia.[5]
  4. Warren Henry born 25 Nov, 1901 in Singleton, New South Wales, Australia.[6]
  5. Una Mary born

On 22 Mar, 1939, Levi and Teresa celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary. At the time, they were residing at 91 Mann Street, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia.[2]

Teresa passed away on 1 Aug, 1945[7][8] at Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, aged 76 years. She was cremated at Newcastle Memorial Park at Beresfield, New South Wales, Australia.[9]

Three sons: Roy (Sydney), Elmer (Uralla), and Warren (Grafton), and two daughters: Mrs. Hooker (Newcastle), and Mrs. Parr (Sydney) were left to mourn their loss.[9]

At the time of her death, Teresa was residing at 44 Blackall Street, Broadmeadow, New South Wales, Australia.[8]
