Great confusion regarding Cephas, more than one born within four years of each other. I believe this Cephas Edward Bailey married Martha Bolewine in 1866 in Minnesota, please see her profile.

The other Cephas was the son of John and died younger

Thanks. Found the other Cephas, and found the name change to John when they moved to Pennsylvania around 1899.
