She had twelve siblings, namely: Prosper, Amos Edward, Priscilla Ismena, Vida Mildred, Coral May, Elsie Susannah, Elizabeth Maud, Cyrus Vincent, Oscar Archer, Ellen Lilliment, Everard Lawrence, and Frederick Glendon. She died on 30 Sep 1969^[2] in Wallsend, New South Wales, Australia. When she was 27, she married Cecil Lionel Beattie Caban, son of John Christopher Caban and Clara Janette Chick, on 04 Sep 1912^[3] in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia.
