Lilian Hancock née Bain was born in 1892 in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia^[1], the child of John and Sophia Bain.

She married Albert HANCOCK in 1912 in Broken Hill, New South Wales^[2]. She had three children by the time she was 26.

She died on October 25, 1965, in South Australia^[3], at the age of 73, and was buried in Centennial Park Cemetery, Mitcham, South Australia.^[4][5][6].
