Betty, daughter of John Bainbridge & Mary Coltherd, was born on 24 December 1805 and baptised on 24 January 1806 in Middleton in Teesdale, Durham, England.^[1] 24 Jan 1806 Betty Bainbridge, of Bowlees, born 24 Dec 1805, 2nd daughter of John Bainbridge (miner, native of Middleton-in-Teesdale) by his wife Mary Coltherd (native of Stanhope) ^[2]
