Jessie May Baines (married name Kennett) was born in 1889 in South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Isabella (Simmons) Baines and Alexander Baines.^[1]

She married Henry Clifford Kennett in 1911 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
