May Baker was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Militia Districts 927, 968, Teloga, Alpine, Chattooga County, Georgia for the June 6, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born October 1898 in Georgia and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Thomas P Baker, wife Maggie Baker, daughter Norra Baker, daughter Lena Baker, son Gordon Baker, son Luther Baker, daughter Baker Unnamed and sister-in-law Alice Pledger.^[1]

Also included in the household are head Gilbert W Stephenson, son William Lee Stephenson and daughter Nellie May Stephenson.^[2]

Nellie May Baker was listed as the mother of William Lee Stephenson who wed Katherine Lucille Mason April 8, 1939 in Fairfield, Jefferson County, Alabama.
