F. was a member of "ISSC SIGNAL CORPS" He was captured and held as a prisoner in Andersonville Prison. He died on August 7. 1864. [1] The cause of his death was diarrhea. He is buried in grave 4969. "4969, Baker, F, signal corps, died Aug 7, diarrhea c."[2]
