Elizabeth Baker was the daughter of John Baker and Mary Parkhurst. Elizabeth, daughter of John, gent, was baptised on 13 November 1636 in Cranbrook, St Dunstan, Kent, England.[1]
She married firstly William Anderson, eldest son of Sir Edward Anderson of Kilnwick Percy.
After his death, she married, aged only about 24, Jonathon Atkins from the neighbouring estate of Grimthorpe. Their was a significant age difference between them. Their marriage took place on 8 October 1661.[2]
Elizabeth and Jonathon had a son, also Jonathon, born in Jun 1662 and who died the following April.
Elizabeth is said to have been buried at Great Givendale, Yorkshire in March 1694/5.
