Biography

Johnson Balcom, son of Abraham and Abigail Balcom, was born about 1800 in Vermont.^[1]

He married Oriza Avery, daughter of Ashbel Stevens and Eunice (Allen) Stevens, on 22 June 1831.^[2][1]

Johnson died on 12 March 1887 at Ottawa County, Michigan, and was buried at Allendale Township Cemetery, Allendale, Ottawa County, Michigan. His memorial has a photo of his headstone [lists age 87] and links to those of family members.^[3]
