  • Headstone reads: Underneath are buried the remains of Thomas Francis Balderston Esq Late of Baddow Lodge in this Parish. Who died the 20th day of Jan 1841 aged 51 years. And also the remains of a beloved daughter Clara Elizabeth who followed her father to an early grave the 31st day of July in the same year, aged 16. Also the remains of Elizabeth, widow of the above named Thomas Francis Balderston and youngest daughter of Walter Urquhart Esq, late of this parish. She departed this life on the 26th day of June 1847 aged 51
