Biography
Julia was born in 1834. She is the daughter of Aaron Baldwin and Julia Bishop.
In 1880 she was living at Torrington, Litchfield, Connecticut with her husband Joseph and their seven-year-old daughter, Bertha. Julia is listed on the 1880 census as a housewife; she said her father was born in Ireland and her mother in Scotland.[1]

Because Julia was living at Litchfield, Connecticut in 1880, it is possible she was married in Connecticut (and not at Litchfield, NY).
