Biography

James Fenton Baldwin son of James Baldwin and his wife, Ann Fenton, was born on 20 July 1818 and was baptised at St Peter, Leeds on the 8th of November. ^[1]

At St Peter on 30 September 1845 he married Ann Foster, daughter of brushmaker, John Foster, ^[2]and his wife, Mary Ann Bollon. Shortly after his wedding he turned to brewing to make their living. ^[3] He died later in 1851 ^[4]aged 32 and was buried at St John the Evangelist in Leeds on the 2nd of November. ^[5]
