Biography
Edward Baldy, son of John and Elizabeth Baldy, was baptised at Falmer in Sussex on the 4th of September 1803. [1] It is possible that he was the Edward Baldy imprisoned for two weeks in 1825 for larceny. [2]
On the 18th of April 1827 at Rottingdean he married Lydia Pope.[3]
Lydia died late in 1858 or early 1859 and was buried at Heathfield on the 29th of January 1859.[4]
Late in 1866 Edward married Susan Bullen, [5]daughter of Isaac Rands and his wife, Sarah Short. She was widow of Edward Bullen and still had children at home.[6]
Edward died in 1873. [7]
