It is presumed he was the William Ball who married Ann Rudge by Banns on 20 Jan 1783 at St Augustine, Bristol, in the presence of Margaret Stevens and Jos [Joseph] Stevens.[1]

William Ball was buried on 15 Jan 1824 at Woolaston, Gloucestershire, age 64.[3]
In his will was made on 22 Dec 1823 and proved on 03 Aug 1824 he was recorded as William Ball senior of the parish of Woolastone in the County of Gloucester fisherman.[4] He noted his sons George, John and William. He nominated his wife Ann as his Executrix.
