Claude Arthur BALLARD, son of Markham John BALLARD and Hephzibah ARGENT, was born on 21 March 1890 in Bowraville, Colony of New South Wales [1] and died on 27 October 1955 in Goulburn Base Hospital, Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia [2] [3] [4] at age 65, and was cremated on 29 October 1955 at Northern Suburbs Crematorium, North Ryde, New South Wales, Australia [5].

Claude married Fanny BARNIER, daughter of Henry BARNIER and Edith Elizabeth STOKES, in 1923 in Grafton (R/D), New South Wales, Australia. [6]

Fanny was born on 8 February 1890 in Grafton (R.D.), Colony of New South Wales and died on 2 August 1986 in New South Wales, Australia at age 96.

They had three children: John Henry, Fanny Edith, and Mary.
