Mary (Barber) Crossland was born in Derbyshire, England.
Mary was born about 1813. She was the daughter of Edmund Barber and Ann Thorp, and she was baptised on 9 May 1813 in Derwent, Derbyshire, England.[1]
Mary married John Crossland on 2 June 1847 in Hathersage, Derbyshire, England.[2]
In the 1851 census Mary 38 and husband John were living in Nether Padley, Derbyshire with John's brother Matthew Crossland. [3]
In the 1861 census Mary (age 48) was the wife of John Crossland in Eyam, Derbyshire, England. They have a son Thomas 12.[4]
In the 1881 census Mary 68 and husband John were living with John's brother Matthew in Nether Padley, Derbyshire, England.[5]
In the 1891 census Mary 78 was a widow, living with her son Thomas Crossland and his family in Calow, Derbyshire, England.[6]
