Gladys Muriel Barber was born in 1904 in Parkes, New South Wales, Australia, daughter of Charles Joshua Barber (1880–1967) and Hannah Antoinette Edwards (1885–1962).
Gladys (28) married Harold Ashcroft (26) (born in 1906 in Forbes, New South Wales; son of Edward John Ashcroft) in 1933 in Parkes. [1]
Gladys died on January 25, 1984 in Southport, Queensland, Australia, aged 79.[2] She was buried in Canowindra Cemetery, Canowindra, New South Wales.[3]
