William Barber was awarded the Medal of Honor.

Biography

Fought in WWII at Iwo Jima, led Company F, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division in Korea and received the Congressional Medal of Honor for his efforts. Later served in Vietnam and retired in 1970.
