Biography
Lydia was born about 1848. Lydia is the child of Joel Barclay and Delitha Elkins. [1] Her name is also found spelled Liddia.
She lived with her parents until at least 1880,[2][3][4]
NOTE: There are several Lydia Barclay's in Alabama at the same time:
- There is a Lydia S Barclay who married Stephen Kennemore in 1866.
- There is a Lydia Barclay found in Talladega, Alabama in 1866.
This is not the same person, since Lydia is found on the census with her parents up to 1880.
