Research Notes

Richardson only states "it is said" Agnes was the daughter of Lord Grandison, on this topic. However, it is also said she was the daughter of Thomas Earl of Warwick. [6] Richardson does not list Agnes as a daughter of Thomas, 11th Earl of Warwick.[7]

The Camden Society states the heritage of Agnes, wife of Thomas, is unknown, and argues against her being Agnes Grandison. [8]

Agnes, granddaughter of Guy, daughter of Thomas, Beachamp, Earls of Warwick, according to Rous Roll ... or, Agnes, of German descent, according to Patent Roll? [9]
