Biography
Mary was born about 1869 to Stephen Barker and Julia Gibbs in Newport, Rhode Island. She had several siblings including: James Henry, Julia, and Catherine.
By the time she was 20, Mary had moved to Fall River, Massachusetts and on October 8, 1889, she married William Kenyon. They had several children together named Bertha, Edith, Charles, James, and Virgil (who died from bronchitis at seven months old).
Mary would stay in Fall River until her death in 1951 and was later buried in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island.
