The line is thought to be that this Charles Barker III is the son of Charles Barker Jr. and Rebecca Parker, both of St. Peter's Parish, New Kent, Virginia Colony. The parents of Charles Barker Jr. are said to be Charles Barker and Rebecca Harrold. The parents of Charles Barker are said to be John Ward Barker and Frances Hannah Tooker Drew, both of Charles City, Charles City County, Virginia Colony. John Ward Barker is said to be the son of the immigrant William Barker, of England, and Frances Sarah Ward, of Charles City. This is all unsourced.
