George Barnes was a Virginian from Accomack County

George was born in 1834. He was the son of John Barnes and Sallie Johnson. He married Evaline Thomas Justice in 1855. He passed away in 1884. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}

George was born on 11 April 1834 at Accomack Co, VA.^[2]

He married Emeline T. Justice, daughter of William (of B.) Justice and Sarah 'Sally' (of Jms.) Taylor, on 1 March 1855 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Geo. Barnes, a 19 year old mariner, born in Acc Co, the son of Jno (of A.) and & Sally Barnes and she was shown as Emaline Justice, age 21, the daughter of Wm. (of B.) & Sally Justice. They were married at Wm. Justice's by E.S. Grant.^[1][3]

George died on 29 September 1884 at age 50.^[2]

His body was interred at Liberty Cemetery, Parksley, Acc Co, VA.^[4]
