Biography

Jeanie was born 1 February 1941 in Munday, Knox, Texas, to [ [Barnes-31511| J. B. Barnes]] and [ [Rutledge- 3849| Estenia Opal Rutledge]] Barnes. The youngest of two surviving daughters. She grew up in Abilene, Taylor, Texas, then finished high school at Perryton High School in Perryton, Texas. She married [ [Rickard-2777| Charles Rickard]] 6 March 1959 in Perryton, Ochiltree, Texas. The union produced two daughters. They divorced once and were remarried, then divorced for the final time. She married Bob Johnson 17 May 1968 in Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas. They lived in Fort Worth for a short time then moved to Bossier City, Bossier, Louisiana, then to Monroe, Louisiana where they worked for Riley Mobile Homes. They eventually owned their own mobile home dealership (actually 2), one in Monroe and one in Bossier City. Bob and Jeanie divorced 10 September 1980, then remarried 11 March 1982 in Carson City, Nevada, they divorced for the final time in 1984. She married again to Robert James Clark, Sr., they also were divorced. She then married Clifford Wayne Ramsey 9 December 1990 in Calhoun, Ouachita, Louisiana. Clifford was killed in a vehicle/horse accident 18 August 1991; which left Jeanie with a closed head injury with some moderate brain damage. She lastly married Donald Bageant 6 February 1996, until his death 17 December 1997. Jeanie loved to travel and had traveled to many places all over the world. She would also pick up and move anywhere to work. She lived in Lake Charles, LA; Martin, TN; and Huntsville, AL. She followed her daughter Hope to Colorado and lived with her and moved with her to Birch Tree, Missouri. She passed away 17 June 2020 in Birch Tree, Shannon, Missouri and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Birch Tree, Shannon, Missouri.
