Patrick Barnewall (1558 - 1622) inherited his father's estates, and was the father of the 1st Viscount Barnewall m. Mary Bagenall (1562 - 1609) - Issue [1]
Sir Ulphram de Berneval, who m. a dau. of the Lord Furnival, and left two sons: 1) Sir Christopher, who succeeded at Crickstown[6][7] 2) John of Frankestown, from whom the Viscounts Kingsland derive m. Genet, dau and heiress of ___ Netterville, of Staffordston, and left issue,
Sir Richard Barnewell of Fieldston mar. Catherine, dau. and heiress of John de la Feld (or Delafield) of Fieldston, and left with other issue,
a son Sir Roger Barnewall who m Alison, dau of Christopher 2nd Lord Trimleston, and dying was succeeded by his son,
Sir Patrick Barnewall of Fieldston, Gracedieu, and Turvey. On 7 October 1534 he was made serjeant-at-law and solicitor general, and on 1 October 1550, Master of the Rolls. By his marriage with Anne, eldest dau of Richard Luttrell, of Luttrellstown, he left issue (with three daus., the eldest of whom became the wife of Sir Patrick Barnewall of Crickstown), a son and successor.
