Biography

Susanna Barney was born at Ashford, Windham, Connecticut Colony. She is the daughter of Joseph Barney and Susannah Shaw. She married Throop Chapman on 29 March 1759, at Windham, Ashford, Connecticut Colony. She is the mother of William Chapman, Mercy Chapman, Ebenezer M. Chapman, Esther Chapman Robbins, Throop Chapman, Jr., and Mary Throop Chapman.

Susanna died in 1774, at Belchertown, Massachusetts.
