Lucinda E. Barrett was born November 1,1830 at Austerlitz, Columbia, New York, USA. She was the daughter of Alexander and Sally Woodworth Barrett.

The family was living in Austerlitz in 1850 where her father farmed.

On January 4, 1852 Lucinda married Samuel Shaw in Austerlitz, Columbia, New York, USA. Four children were born to this couple.

Lucinda and Samuel lived in Canaan, Columbia New York presumably from their marriage onward but certainly by 1860 through the Samuel's death in 1882.

On September 2, 1885 Lucinda remarried to J. Warren Starkinweather.

Mr. Starkinweather passed away in 1893.

Lucinda can be found in 1900 living in Pittsfield, Berkshire, Massachusetts where she passed away on May 30, 1908 at 1338 W. Street.
