Edith D. Zinn, 59, formerly of Mercersburg, died Thursday, January 18, 2007, at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born November 6, 1947, in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late John and Stella (Clark) Barthalow. She was married to William Zinn of Lewistown. She was last employed at the Arby's in Greencastle as a server. She was of Pentecostal faith and enjoyed crossword puzzles and camping. She is survived by her husband, William Zinn, Lewistown; a son, Anthony Sowers, Mercersburg; a daughter, Josie Zinn, Lewistown; two grandchildren, her foster mother; her aunt, Edith Clark, McConnellsburg; four sisters: Sarah Josephine Seville, McConnellsburg; Louise Carbaugh, Harrisonville; Helen (Mrs. Roy) Barnhart, McConnellsburg; and Anna Pearl (Mrs. Lester) Hockley, Carlisle; five brothers: John Barthalow, Lebanon, Pa.; Henry Barthalow, Greencastle; Frank Barthalow, Shippensburg; Melvin Barthalow, Mercersburg; and Nathan Barthalow, McConnellsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Stella Clark Barthalow; a daughter, Mary Woy; two sons: Thomas Sowers and Robert Woy Jr.; and three brothers. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 23, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Horst and Henry Barthalow officiated. Burial was made in Antioch Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Homes Inc., McConnellsburg, was in charge of arrangements
