Note N1042Possibly the same William Bartlett who was a witness at the marriage of Nathaniel Willing (#1652) and Mary Edwards (#1687). Many of his children carry a second forename of Edwards. This would normally be associated with a maternal maiden name, but there is no evidence of this. The only way it could have happened was if maternal grandmother had been an Edwards. There is a reference in the 1822 Pigot's directory to William Bartlett builder of 12 St Aubyn Street
