Birth

Abiah was born to Thomas and Hannah Bartlett in Watertown on May 28, 1651^[1]

Marriage

Abiah Bartlett married Jonathan Sanderson in Cambridge on October 24, 1669^[2][3]

Later life

Jonathan and his bride moved to the adjoining farm in Cambridge, called Hassel's Farm, and lived there for 21 years. His wife, Abiah, bore eight children there. In 1689, they removed to 'Piety Corner' in Watertown, where he became known initially as Sergeant Sanderson. ^[4] That part of Watertown became Waltham in 1738, though Waltham record-keeping seems to have started earlier. ^[5]

Death

Abiah Bartlett Sanderson died in Waltham on September 13, 1723, in her 74th year. She was buried in the Grove Hill Cemetery, in Waltham.^[6]
