Alfred Bateman was born in Cheshire, England.
Alfred was born in Birkenhead, Cheshire, England, on July 25, 1908. [1] He was the son of Ernest Bateman and Jessie Williams. He was baptized on Aufust 16, 1908, in Birkenhead.[2] He was enumerated in the 1911 census [3] as a two year old, and one of four children living with his parents in Lisgard (Sub district of Wallasey) Cheshire.
