Biography

John was born about 1772 in Radnage. He is the son of John Batten and Elizabeth Stone.

He married Sarah Jarvis (Jervis) in 1795 in his home village, and they had at least 3 children there.

He died in West Wycombe in 1831 (but see Reasearch Notes).
