Biography
Birth
Clara Jane Baxter was born in 1860 at Taradale, Victoria. She was the daughter of Ann Henderson Bolain and JOhn Baxter. [1]
Marriage
Clara married John Boyce in Victoria in 1876.[2]
They had three children together before ending their marriage in 1892 when Clara filed for a Decree Nisi on the grounds that he had relocated to Tasmania and when he was home he was invariably drunk and in trouble. the Decree Nisi was granted.[3]
When Clara married Frederick George Terry 1868-1922 she had resumed the use of her maiden name "Baxter". Clara Baxter married Frederick Terry in Victoria in 1898. [4]
Death
Clara Terry died in Victoria in 1917. Her parents were named on the death index as Ann Henderson and John Baxter. [5]
