Hodijah Baylies of Taunton was an officer during the Revolutionary War, serving as a Lieutenant in Col. Henry Jackson's regiment in 1777 and as aide-de-camp to Gen. Lincoln and as Lt. of a company of grenadiers in Col. Jackson's regiment in 1778 and as a Major, serving as aide-de-camp to Gen. Lincoln in 1779. [1] [2] [3]
