Her father was the elder brother of:

• Paul Bayning, alderman of London;
• and Andrew Bayning, alderman of London.

Mary was the wife of Sir John Watts of Ware, Hertfordshire, who commanded the expedition to Cales in 1625. They are the parents of:

• John, Esq. of Ware (living 1634).
