Elijah, son of John Beagel,[1] was born 26 October 1820 in Harrison County, Kentucky.[2]
On 24 May 1842 in Harrison County, he married Lucinda Boon,[3][4][1] daughter of Joab or Joel Boone and Elinor Ellis.[5] The younger couple had five known children:

Elijah applied for a veteran's pension on 1 April 1890.[27]
Elijah died 6 March 1892 in Nicholas County and was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery in Carlisle, Nicholas County.[2]
