Biography
Effemary (Eve) was the oldest child of John Beamer Jr. and Anna Young. She was born in Bethlehem Twp. on Sunday, Jan. 26, 1783. She died May 19, 1806. [1]
Beamer Lore says Effemary died from a hemorrhage caused by scratching her throat on a piece of crust from freshly baked bread baked in a primitive oven. [2]
She is buried in St. Andrew's Anglican Church cemetery. Her headstone shows that Eve Beamer died aged 23 years, 3 months and 23 days. [3]
