Died about 1610 at about age 55 in Hanbury, Worcestershire, England [uncertain]

Biography

John was born about 1555. He was the eldest son and heir of Thomas Bearcroft and his wife Anne Foxley. He inherited the mansion of Mere Hall and his will was proved in 1610.^[1][2]

In 1579 he married Elizabeth Archer and they had seven children. His second wife was Elizabeth Jennetts, daughter and coheiress of Humphrey Jennetts (1538-1617) who had succeeded Thomas Bearcroft as Ranger of Feckenham Forest.^[3]
