Biography
Married Alice Newton[1][2] His granddaughter writes, “my father , Henry Judson Beardsley left home when young, and knew little about his parents but he often told me that his father was a sailor, and that he had a twin brother Philo. These twins, Andrew and Philo, ran away from home when only nine years of age, and went to sea. A great storm came up and Philo was lost. years later they heard that a Philo Beardsley, living in Canada, had the same story to tell about his brother Andrew.”[2]
