Florence (Beatty) McKenzie is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.

Florence Isabel Beatty was born on 16 Aug 1883^[1] in Inverell, New South Wales, Australia as the sixth child of Samuel Beatty and Annabella Locke. She had ten siblings, namely: Alice Yates, Emily Elliot, Annabella Louise, Alice Moreau, Charles Augustus, Ella Annie, Clarice Jemima, May, Beatrice Mary, and Reginald Lawrence. She died on 02 Aug 1972^[2] in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. When she was 28, she married John Roderick McKenzie,son of Alexander McKenzie and Eliza Jane Mitchell, on 10 Apr 1912^[3] in Warwick, Queensland, Australia.
