US Black Heritage Project
Washington Beatty is a part of US Black heritage.

Washington was born in 1818. He was enslaved by Milton Beatty.[1]

He began a relationship with Lucinda Jamison on December 25, 1861. After emancipation they made this marriage official on April 19, 1866.[1]

In the 1870 census Washington (age 52), Farm Laborer, was in Atwell, Rowan, North Carolina.[2]
