Biography

William Anthony Beddow was born on 26 June 1906 in Linton, Emmons, North Dakota, United States, son of Samuel Earl Beddow (1872–1939) and Katharina Margaret Kieffer (1877–1942).

William married Harriet May Mccrea (born on 23 May 1909 in Manitoba, Canada).

In 1910, William (4) was living in household of Samuel Beddow (36) in Wells, Emmons with his parents, Samuel (36) and Katharina (32); and his brother, Teddy (0). ^[1]

In 1916, William (10) was living in household of Samuel Beddow (44) in Happy Valley No. 10, Saskatchewan with his parents, Samuel (44) and Katharina (39); and his siblings, Teodore (6), and Benjamin (0). ^[2]

In 1926, William (20) was living in household of Sam Beddow (53) in Willow Bunch No. 42, Saskatchewan with his parents, Sam (53) and Katherine (48). ^[3]

William registered for the draft for World War II. ^[4]

William died on 13 August 1971 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, aged 65.^[5]
