Thomas Behenna was born in month 1867, probably to Thomas Behenna and Elizabeth Jane Behenna (born Teague). His father Thomas was born in October 1843, in Kenwyn, Cornwall, England. His mother Elizabeth was born in January 1846, in Gluvias, Cornwall, England. He had 5 siblings including Joseph Behenna (1869), Albert Behenna, Mary Maria Uren (born Behenna, 1877)[1]
In 1895 he married Elizabeth Reed Reynolds in Truro, Cornwall, England[2]
Thomas is noticed in the 31 Mar 1901 census as a 34 year old tin miner captain living in Kenwyn Rural, Cornwall, England with his wife, 35 year old Elizabeth Reed Behenna and children:
