Arthea A Behnke was born 3 Oct 1929 in Sauk County, Wisconsin, a twin of parents Arthur Henry Behnke and Edna Leona Klages. She married Junior R Kowalke (1928-2013) and they had at least three children who sadly died at birth:
- Wayne Kowalke (23 Oct 1950)
- William Kowalke (23 Oct 1950)
- Douglas Paul Kowalke (5 Mar 1953)
Arthea passed away on 14 Jul 2019 in Grand Rapids Township, Michigan and was buried at Saint Johns Cemetery (Section 5 Row 10) outside Rock Springs, Wisconsin.
