Biography

Beitel, the owners of Kerrville's only lumber company. Jeri was a high school beauty and was one of the first females to attend Schreiner Institute where she met C.R. "Rosy" Myers, her husband of 52 years. Rosy, working for Humble Oil Company, moved frequently until 1945 when the family settled in Waco, Texas where Rosy established a construction company.

Jeri was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed tennis, bridge, reading literature, and fashionable clothing. She was an encourager, had a quick wit, a great sense of humor, and always saw the best in others. The Myers had been members of First Presbyterian Church in Waco. Widowed, in 1986 Jeri moved from Waco to be near her children. She lived in Bryan for approximately 20 years. In May 2015, Jeri was honored with a 100th birthday party given at her grandson Hank Seale's, Dripping Springs Ranch.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rosy; and her sister, Gertrude Gordon.

Jeri is survived by her three children, Dr. Dan Myers and wife, Kathy, Nancy Seale Bovey and husband Rod, and Fritzi Dupuy and husband Jules; a sister, Dr. Betty Jo Hancock; ten grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Jeri will be deeply missed and remembered dearly by those who knew and loved her.
