Biography

Piet was born on 25 Apr 1946, the youngest son of Jan Bekker and Johanna Bekker.
There is uncertainty whether he was baptised Jurgens Johannes or Petrus Johannes and any sources confirming either would be welcome.

He attended Eldorette boarding school and from 1959 the Nakuru boarding school, and then Prince of Wales High School in Nairobi.
He immigrated in 1963 with his family to South Africa. He also knew and talked 9 languages. Sometime in 1992/1993 he was locked up and sent to brazil prison.

Ek het hom toe eers nie geglo nie maar het toe gaan kyk. Hy was wel n streng oupa maar ek bly lief vir hom.'[1]

Marriage

Johan married Debbie in the Magistrate's Court in Germiston in Jan 1968. Hy het haar ook "Vrou" genoem as hy haar roep dit onthou ek (Chanel Bekker). Hy was regtig baie lief vir "Debora" na sy hom geskei het,het hy alleen geloop tot sy dood. Hy het altyd vir ons (Sy kinders en kleinkinders) gese hy het net een vrou en dis Debbie [2]

Death

He passed away in Boksburg on 28 May 2011. [3]
