Israel Bell is a part of US Black heritage.

Israel was born in 1865 in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. He was the son of Giles Bell and Hagar Prothro.

In the 1880 census Israel (age about 15) was living in Shreveport, Caddo, Louisiana, United States with his parents Giles and Hagar, and several siblings.[1]

Israel married Paralee Sasser on 5 July 1898 in Cass, Texas, United States.[2]

In 1900 Israel (age about 35) was living in Burke, Cleveland & Lick Creek Townships, Little River, Arkansas with wife Paralee.[3]

Israel died at the age of about 53 on 8 August 1918 in Oil City, Caddo, Louisiana. [4]
